Reagan joined Dunsmore Law P.C. in 2009. He practices in the areas of labour, employment, human rights and OH&S law. Reagan is also a certified human resources profession (C.H.R.P.).   In 2014, Reagan completed his Masters of Law (LL.M) part-time at Osgoode Law School.   One of his papers regarding the Unjust Dismissal provisions of the Canada Labour Code was published in 2015 in the University of Western Ontario Journal of Legal Studies:

In January 2016, Reagan Ruslim appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada in the matter of Wilson vs. Atomic Energy of Canada Limited regarding the statutory interpretation of the Unjust Dismissal provisions of the Code.

Reagan has the unique status among lawyers as he is also a Chartered Accountant (C.A.), A Certified Public Accountant (C.P.A.) (New Hampshire, U.S.A.) and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (C.G.M.A.).  

He graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours Co-op Option) from Wilfrid Laurier University in 1999. Upon his graduation, he joined Deloitte where he earned his three accounting designations. But, after several years practicing public accounting, Reagan attended the University of Western Ontario’s law school where he graduated in 2006. He was called to the Bar in Ontario in 2007.

Reagan has combined his accounting and legal skills to assist clients in interest arbitration and in the management and governance of public housing and condominium corporations. He also advises small and medium businesses respecting employment relationships and matters related to Revenue Canada and Services Canada.  Reagan has appeared before all levels of Court in Ontario and the Supreme Court of Canada.

In his spare time, Reagan likes to try and re-live his youth by snowboarding and skateboarding. Reagan is also trying to become a better golfer and better control his passion to computer technology, especially anything made by Apple.
